Beijing airport security confiscated my external battery because apparently they've been exploding in China (probably cheap Taobao ones). When I argued that this couldn't be common because no other country banned them the security guard kept telling me there were many videos on YouTube. Which is interesting of her to say since YouTube is banned in China.
